NFL power rankings: Stacking up all 32 teams heading into Week 15
By Peter Panacy
What were the Texans thinking letting quarterback Tom Savage to back into the game after suffering an apparent concussion versus the 49ers?
I’m no medical expert, but this is usually a bad sign:
Just over a drive after the above play, the Texans wisely put backup QB T.J. Yates in the game, although it wasn’t enough to stop the suddenly interesting Niners.
Granted, Houston received awesome production from wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins and EDGE Jadeveon Clowney. Those two players alone help keep Houston from falling any deeper in our NFL power rankings.
But for the Texans, 2017 is proving to be a year of “what could have been.”
Biggest Question
In addition to the swarm of injuries the Texans have suffered this season, perhaps the biggest question Texans fans will be asking is how well rookie quarterback Deshaun Watson will recover from his knee injury.
Watson is young, fortunately, which hopefully points to a speedy recovery and him hitting the field in full force in 2018.
