Fantasy football: Start-em, sit-em players for Week 14
By Jay Marsdale
Sit-em: Jamaal Williams (GB) @ Cleveland
Sitting someone against the Browns is hard, but this is where I stand with running back Jamaal Williams this week.
The Green Bay backfield is going to be impossible to predict for this game. Williams has been the only guy for the past few weeks and has produced reasonably well. However, last week Aaron Jones reminded everyone what he can do by taking his only overtime touch for a long touchdown.
This looks to be a backfield by committee and one to avoid in fantasy football until it works itself out. Both Jones and Williams are going to get touches in this game and that means neither is a good start for fantasy this week.
Quietly this season, the Browns have been decent against the run. The passing game has given them the most trouble, but they are ranked sixth in the NFL against the run. The Browns have allowed under 100 yards per game on the ground this season.
The Packers need to win this game to allow Aaron Rodgers a chance to make a real playoff push when he gets healthy. Brett Hundley is going to have to be the one who does it. The passing game has to be consistent and dependable in this spot. Look for the Green Bay running game to struggle this week in Cleveland. Get Williams out of your lineup for this one.
Other options: Samaje Perine (WAS) @ Los Angeles Chargers and Kenyan Drake (MIA) vs New England.
