L, 26-20 at Packers (OT). Previous: . Tampa Bay Buccaneers. 27. team. 48.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers don’t fall a spot in our NFL power rankings despite falling to the Green Bay Packers 26-20 in overtime.

On one hand, the Bucs could have won this game. It took some overtime heroics from Packers running back Aaron Jones to give Green Bay the edge. But that, and some additional problems from Tampa Bay’s defense, sum up just why the Buccaneers have been so inconsistent this season.

The loss wasn’t because of quarterbacking, though, as Jameis Winston had a great game after returning from a shoulder injury. He passed for 270 yards and two touchdowns, and the offense was bolstered by running back Peyton Barber, who had 102 yards rushing and another 41 through the air.

Still, the Buccaneers are bad because they lose winnable games like this. It’s gong to be a tough offseason for head coach Dirk Koetter, if his job stays safe.
