It’s not always about who you play, it’s when you play them.

Such was the case for the Dolphins against the struggling Broncos in Week 13, as the Dolphins were able to take advantage of three Broncos turnovers en route to the decisive 35-9 win.

Granted, Miami had three turnovers of its own. Quarterback Jay Cutler wasn’t particularly great, but we’ve long since been used to that. Despite Cutler’s efforts, the Dolphins still managed to get 98 receiving yards and a touchdown from wide receiver Kenny Stills. And running back Kenyan Drake made his mark with 120 rushing yards and a touchdown of his own.

While we shouldn’t expect this kind of offensive output from head coach Adam Gase’s squad all season, it’s at least nice to see this effort against a Denver defense that used to be pretty good not long ago.
