Sit-em: Adrian Peterson (ARI) vs. Jacksonville

It was fun seeing the old Adrian Peterson in his first few games with the Cardinals. Unfortunately, that is the last time we are going to get to see that Peterson again this season.

Is Blaine Gabbert still the starting quarterback in Arizona? Yes. So avoid this offense completely against the Jaguars. The Jacksonville defense might have more touchdowns than the Arizona offense this week. Even without top cornerback Jalen Ramsey, the Jaguars will handle Gabbert and the Cardinals.

Peterson was in a position to succeed when he first got to Arizona. With Carson Palmer at quarterback and Larry Fitzgerald at wide receiver, they had a shot at the playoffs, but not anymore. Peterson is averaging under two yards a carry in his last two games. It’s time to stop relying on Peterson in fantasy football this year.
