Nice of you to show up for once, Giants defense.

OK, so the Giants won but still don’t advance in our NFL power rankings. There are a few reasons why. First, this game was pure boredom. And it’s probably linked to how poorly the Chiefs are playing rather than anything the Giants are doing special.

Additionally, we won’t move the 49ers from the next spot, as they were on the bye week.

New York tight end Evan Engram’s touchdown streak came to an end, and the Giants offense wasn’t particularly impressive. But then again, neither was the Chiefs offense.

The Giants managed to force three turnovers, which is a good sign for head coach Ben McAdoo and Co. But New York will need to replicate these efforts again to stage a climb in the rankings.
