The 40-17 loss for the Tennessee Titans on Thursday Night Football against the Pittsburgh Steelers makes this prime-time contest sound like a blowout.

In reality, though, the game was much closer than it seemed. While they never led in the game, the Titans were trailing by just one score heading into the fourth quarter, when the Steelers decided to blow things wide open.

And that’s not a rare occurrence on Thursday nights, especially as the game draws on.

It’s hard to bump the Titans down in our NFL power rankings, as they’re still superior to the teams previously listed. Sure, Tennessee has had its share of inconsistencies, but the playoff push is what matters most now.
