San Francisco 49ers: Which players wind up making the Pro Bowl this season?

No. 3: Running Back Raheem Mostert
No, Raheem Mostert won’t make the Pro Bowl based off his abilities on offense. We’re talking about special teams here.
Mostert is the 49ers’ representative for special teams play on the NFL’s official balloting site. And while a lot has gone poorly for San Francisco this season, special teams hasn’t been the issue.
For note, the Niners are giving up an average of just 2.5 yards per punt return this season — No. 1 in the NFL through 11 weeks. And a big reason behind this solid number has been Mostert, especially through Weeks 1 and 4, according to Pro Football Focus:
This wouldn’t receive a lot of attention if it did happen, but Mostert’s efforts this year are certainly worthy of Pro Bowl consideration.
