. Quarterback. . New York Jets. . team. 30

The New York Jets are another one of those surprise teams in 2017 after virtually the entire league thought they’d be competing for the No. 1 pick in the NFL Draft.

Not so much, although the Jets are far away from being labeled as a complete team.

New York could use some help at wide receiver, running back and along the offensive line. The secondary is a bit of an issue as well.

Yet the biggest area of concern is at quarterback. While veteran signal-caller Josh McCown has performed admirably well this season, he’s 38 years old and certainly isn’t the long-term answer.

Does that mean the Jets are willing to turn the reins over to younger QBs like Bryce Petty or Christian Hackenberg?

Likely not.
