No. 3: Los Angeles Rams (7-2) at Minnesota Vikings (7-2)

Is the Los Angeles Rams offense for real? And how about the Minnesota Vikings defense?

L.A. has the best scoring offense in the NFL, averaging 32.9 points per game, while the Vikings are fifth in the league, allowing an average of 18.3 points per contest.

Both teams have certainly overachieved this season. For the Rams, we can easily point at the jobs quarterback Jared Goff and running back Todd Gurley have done this year. But it’s impossible to overlook wide receiver Robert Woods, who looks more like a true No. 1 on a week-to-week basis.

The Vikings, though, have the ability to shut even the best offenses down. Currently, this group ranks second in the NFL in yards per play (4.7).

But there’s another storyline to watch here too. Vikings fill-in quarterback Case Keenum saw action in L.A. last season before giving way to Goff. Keenum is coming off arguably the best game of his career last week, in which he threw for over 300 yards and had four touchdown passes.

Needless to say, Keenum will enter this matchup with a little extra motivation.

At any rate, both teams have a shot to prove whether or not they’re the real deal. This contest should be fun to watch.
