Sit-em: Kirk Cousins (WAS) @ New Orleans

The New Orleans Saints are sixth in the NFL for fewest points allowed. This defense has done a complete 180 in just one offseason and has become one to avoid in fantasy football. This week they go up against the Washington Redskins and quarterback Kirk Cousins.

Cousins is working with very little on offense right now. The injuries are mounting up, and this week they are going to be too much for Cousins to overcome. Cousins is going to be without his top wideout, Terrelle Pryor, and tight end Jordan Reed in Week 11. Washington was already banged up along the offensive line, so losing two pass catchers can only worsen the situation for Cousins and the Redskins offense.

The Redskins are not only going to struggle on offense this week, but Cousins isn’t even going to be on the field long enough to do anything significant for fantasy owners. The Saints have not only transformed on defense, but on offense as well. They are running the ball a ton and killing a lot of clock, keeping opposing offenses off the field.

There aren’t many great matchups for quarterbacks in Week 11. Cousins is just one of many good passers who are in line for a difficult time this weekend. The Saints rarely lose at home, and the Redskins are not healthy enough to really even challenge them.

If you are forced to start Cousins, don’t expect a lot of production.
