Cornerback K’Waun Williams

Veteran nickel cornerback K’Waun Williams missed the 49ers’ previous two games with a quad injury but was able to return to action in Week 10 and logged 44 snaps in the process.

Not all of them were good, though, as indicated in the plays below:

On the second play guarding Giants wideout Sterling Shepard, Williams could have given up what would have been an easy touchdown if quarterback Eli Manning had seen the open man.

Overall this season, Williams owns a 36.9 overall Pro Football Focus grade, which ranks 114 out of 116 qualifying cornerbacks.
