Safety Adrian Colbert

The Niners’ losses of safeties Jimmie Ward and Jaquiski Tartt to season-ending arm injuries have left this position thin.

But the team’s last pick in the 2017 NFL Draft, defensive back Adrian Colbert, has made those losses not hurt nearly as much.

Colbert finished the day with four tackles and two passes defended, including a big sideline hit on Giants wide receiver King Tavarres:

Colbert suffered a broken thumb during the game and is likely to miss a game, but his performance in Week 12 is definitely a positive sign of things to come.
