Here’s a simple lesson for you — never count the Patriots out of anything as long as quarterback Tom Brady and head coach Bill Belichick are in the picture.

Such was the case on Sunday Night Football, when the Pats absolutely demolished the Broncos during prime time 41-16. Brady was magnificent, as per usual, and doing so in Denver — a place where he traditionally struggles — had to feel good.

Getting tight end Martellus Bennett back after his release from Green Bay only makes this offense more potent.

Oh, and remember all that talk about the Pats defense being terrible? This group hasn’t allowed more than 17 points to an opponent since way back in Week 4 against the Panthers.
