NFL power rankings: Where do all 32 teams stack up entering Week 11?
By Peter Panacy
You know things are going well with the Panthers when quarterback Cam Newton is smiling and happy, and such was the case on Monday night as Carolina easily handled the visiting Dolphins 45-21.
The score makes the game sound closer than it actually was. Newton and the Panthers offense were up 17-7 in the first half, thanks to a key interception from linebacker Luke Kuechly with less than two minutes remaining.
And the Panthers held onto that momentum for the rest of the game.
Newton finished the night with four touchdowns passing and a whopping 95 yards on the ground. Wide receiver Devin Funchess made Kelvin Benjamin’s trade-deadline departure to the Bills seem not so bad.
And running back Jonathan Stewart had a cool 110 yards on the ground.
