Sit-em: Lamar Miller (HOU) @ Los Angeles Rams

Houston is going against one of the best teams in the NFL in the Rams this week. They are doing so with backup quarterback Tom Savage under center. That is a recipe for disaster for the entire Houston offense, especially running back Lamar Miller.

Miller is going to need to take his game to another level after Deshaun Watson’s injury. Unfortunately, I don’t think he is capable of carrying this offense through the Rams.

The Los Angeles defense is stingy under normal circumstances, but going up against Savage, it is going to be extra focused on Miller and the running game. Aaron Donald is perhaps the best defensive player in the NFL, and he is going to be clogging running lanes all day in Los Angeles.

Not only will he be going against a tough run defense, but one of the league’s best offenses too. Houston is going to be trailing early on in this one. The lack of early results and a lopsided score is going to lead to a much more pass-heavy offense for the Texans.

No matter what way you look at it, Houston is going to have a tough time on offense this week. Either they run the ball against a stacked box and a great defensive line, or they rely on Savage to throw them to a victory.

Neither are very likely to result in a win. You should avoid every piece of this offense in fantasy football for Week 10.
