Week 12 vs. Seattle Seahawks

Opponent’s Record: 5-3

Coming off their bye in Week 11, the 49ers face a still-tough challenge of facing the Seattle Seahawks at home.

Granted, the Seahawks aren’t quite the big bad bullies they used to be just a few short years ago. But pound for pound, Seattle still outmatches San Francisco in almost every class. And that includes the offensive line, now, after adding left tackle Duane Brown before the NFL trade deadline.

The Niners haven’t beat the Seahawks since 2013, so this matchup doesn’t look to be in head coach Kyle Shanahan’s favor at all.

Despite some issues on offense this season, Seattle still boasts the NFL’s fourth-best offense in terms of yardage (3,029). And that defense is still potent, allowing an average of just 18.6 points per game.

Even if San Francisco was fully healthy for this contest, it would still be a long shot to predict a victory.

The Niners’ bye does little good, as the team suffers yet another NFC West loss.

Prediction: 49ers 13, Seahawks 30
