“Uninspiring” is about the only word one can use to describe the Baltimore Ravens’ loss to the Tennessee Titans in Week 9.
Sure, the Ravens had their chances. But ongoing offensive ineptitude — Baltimore ranked 31st in the league entering the game, with an average of 4.4 yards per play — continued on the road in Tennessee.
No, this wasn’t going to be another 40-point game for the Ravens.
Quarterback Joe Flacco had two touchdowns and two interceptions, the running game was lackluster and Baltimore’s defense couldn’t hold long enough to give the Ravens a shot late in the game.
