. New York Giants. 29. team. 31. . 1-6

I knew I didn’t feel bad about dropping the New York Giants in NFL power rankings last week, in spite of their stunning road win over the Denver Broncos.

That game in Week 6 was an anomaly for New York, and it probably says more about the Broncos’ struggles than what’s going on with the Giants. More on Denver later, though.

The Giants fell to the visiting Seattle Seahawks 24-7 despite holding a 7-3 lead going into halftime.

Suddenly the Seahawks realized New York doesn’t have any wide receivers, but we knew that already. Seattle’s defense is still very good, and New York’s own defense couldn’t hold the line, as the Seahawks eventually ran away with things in the second half.
