Just forget about that loss in New Orleans, Lions. At least your defense should.

Detroit’s defense uncharacteristically gave up a whopping 52 points to the Saints in Week 6 despite holding quarterback Drew Brees and Co. to just 379 all-purpose yards.

But when you commit five turnovers, that’s what happens.

So maybe this ugly outcome falls upon the shoulders of quarterback Matthew Stafford, who tossed three interceptions and lost two fumbles. You’re better than that, Matt.

This certainly isn’t indicative of what the Lions have been able to do this season, so let’s just write it off as a week to forget.
