2-4. . Oakland Raiders. 17. team. 28.

It’s officially time to panic in Oakland.

Quarterback Derek Carr (back) made his return after missing last week, but that wasn’t enough to get the Raiders over the hump, losing to the Chargers 17-16 in the process.

Week 6 provided the last best chance for a win prior to Oakland’s Week 10 bye, and now the team embarks on a two-game road trip to visit the division-leading Kansas City Chiefs and feisty Dolphins the next two weeks.

And the second half of the Raiders schedule is pretty brutal.

Oakland’s defense has been an issue for much of the season, especially within the secondary. Pair this with a merely-OK running game, and we see the problems.

The Raiders are still ranked fairly high in our NFL power rankings despite the 2-4 record, as they have the potential to be explosive still.

But who would have thought Oakland would be in last place within the AFC West this deep into 2017? We sure didn’t.
