At the start of the 2017 season, who would have guessed the Eagles would be 4-1 and atop the now-tough NFC East?

Well, that’s the case right now. And this spot here is certainly justified after Philadelphia easily knocked off the Cardinals 34-7 in a game dominated by second-year quarterback Carson Wentz.

Wentz threw for 304 yards, four touchdowns and one interception en route to an impressive 128.3 passer rating on Sunday. Wide receiver Nelson Agholor continued his impressive 2017 campaign with one of those receiving scores and an additional 93 yards through the air.

Speaking of passing games, the Eagles defense still has some question marks but held its own in Week 5. Philly’s run defense is elite, though.

We’ll see how well that defense holds up against the Panthers in Week 6, although the Eagles are certainly flying high right now.
