NFL power rankings: Chiefs stay hot in Week 6, 49ers stay low

Don’t give Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers enough time to beat you!
That should be the slogan for the Dallas Cowboys every time they square off against Rodgers and Co. in a tight ballgame, which was the case in Dallas’ 35-31 Week 5 defeat at the hands of Green Bay.
In fairness, Rodgers is a future Hall of Famer, so those things will happen. And the Cowboys defense simply isn’t good enough to shut down an elite-level quarterback on a regular basis.
As has been the case all season, Dallas’ fortunes will go by whether or not quarterback Dak Prescott, running back Ezekiel Elliott and Co. are dominant enough on offense.
They were, for certain, leading the way to 408 total yards and dominating the time of possession, 35:06 to 24:54. But three critical turnovers kept Green Bay in the game, allowing for yet another masterful comeback by Rodgers.
The Cowboys only drop one spot, but they’re now staring at a 2-3 record in advance of their bye week.
