The Seattle Seahawks managed to cool the Los Angeles Rams’ hot streak in Week 5, shutting down Rams head coach Sean McVay’s offense to the tune of just 10 points and 375 all-purpose yards in this 16-10 NFC West showdown.

L.A. now has the second-leading scoring offense in the NFL, which certainly isn’t bad, considering where this team was a year ago.

And one can only think what pundits would say had Rams wide receiver Cooper Kupp hauled in that would-be game-winning touchdown pass from quarterback Jared Goff late in the fourth quarter.

Regardless, the Rams are still 3-2, despite Goff’s two interceptions against a stout Seahawks defense.

Depending on how things go against an equally formidable Jaguars defense in Week 6, we’ll see if McVay and Co. are the real deal in 2017.

No change in this week’s NFL power rankings.
