NFL power rankings: Week 5 sees 49ers stay low, a new team at No. 1

If we were doing NFL power rankings for fanbases, the Los Angeles Chargers would be in last place.

Heck, last place wouldn’t even begin to describe the lack of interest the Chargers are drawing in their sub-27,000-seat facility at the StubHub Center:

Things might be better if the Chargers were actually winning. But as one of only three winless teams remaining, the L.A. fanbase has every right not to be supportive.

In fairness, the Chargers gave the visiting Philadelphia Eagles all they could handle, falling 26-24 in a game where there seemed to be more Eagles fans than, well, you know.

At least Chargers quarterback Philip Rivers stopped his interception-tossing ways for the time being.
