NFL power rankings: Week 5 sees 49ers stay low, a new team at No. 1

People probably weren’t lining up in droves to watch the Browns and Cincinnati Bengals (both winless teams entering Week 4) square off in an AFC North bout.
The Bengals looked like the playoff-bound Bengals of old, racking up 25 first downs and dominating the time-of-possession battle, 35:02 to 24:58, en route to the 31-7 victory.
Rookie quarterback DeShone Kizer looks like, well, a rookie. He completed less than 50 percent of his passes and finished with a passer rating of just 43.5.
That’s dead last in the NFL, if you hadn’t noticed.
We’d hoped head coach Hue Jackson would have had some answers by now, but that’s not looking to be the case. Maybe Cleveland picks up its first win against the New York Jets in Week 5, but let’s not get ahead of ourselves.
