Los Angeles Rams

Can quarterback Jared Goff finally turn a page?

The Los Angeles Rams gave up a lot to grab quarterback Jared Goff at No. 1 overall in the 2016 NFL Draft. But his rookie season certainly didn’t live up to expectations.

Sure, the Rams were a mess last year. The hope here is front-office changes will create a culture that allows Goff to succeed. New head coach Sean McVay has worked wonders with quarterbacks before, and Goff will be given every chance to thrive.

It helps the Rams added a number of receiving weapons via this year’s draft, and bringing in veteran wideout Sammy Watkins could help matters too.

If Goff starts to show signs of being a franchise-type QB, great. If not, the “bust” moniker will start to rear its ugly head.
