Denver Broncos

Just how bad is Denver’s quarterback situation?

Well, it’s so bad the Denver Broncos were enticed to bring back recently cut Brock Osweiler.

Osweiler won’t start right away. That job will go to quarterback Trevor Siemian, who beat out former first-round pick Paxton Lynch for the opportunity. And Lynch ended up landing on season-ending injured reserve anyway.

Lynch is looking like a bust, but Siemian isn’t exactly seen as a top-tier QB either.

It’s tough, as Denver’s defense and supporting offensive cast is good enough to put the team in playoff contention.

Amid a tough AFC West, lackluster quarterback play is going to hurt.
