There’s one thing separating Dak Prescott from the next guy on this list, Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger, aside from age, of course.

It’s the ability to shine when it counts the most. And by the most, I mean playoffs.

Roethlisberger’s playoff pedigree is something that makes him a commodity I’d want in a postseason game. Prescott’s playoff profile will be built with time, but Roethlisberger’s is impressive enough right now.

There was talk the veteran quarterback would retire this offseason. It didn’t happen, of course, and the Steelers couldn’t be any happier.

As long as Big Ben is under center, the Steelers will remain a serious playoff hopeful and, perhaps, one of only a few teams who can legitimately challenge the Patriots for a Super Bowl berth.
