Key NFL Draft Additions: CB Marlon Humphrey, EDGE Tyus Bowser, OLB Tim Williams

The selection of cornerback Marlon Humphrey in Round 1 is questionable at best. Alabama corners rarely translate well over to the NFL level, and Humphrey gives up too many big plays to warrant the selection here.

If he pans out, great. But the Ravens could have gone in a number of different directions here.

Sure, Baltimore’s defense got a bit stronger. But outside linebacker Tim Williams could be a bit of a concern.

Why didn’t the Ravens target a wide receiver, to replace the now-retired Steve Smith, early?
