Minnesota Vikings. 22. team. 60. . 8-8.

Key NFL Draft Additions: RB Dalvin Cook, C Pat Elflein

The Minnesota Vikings are another one of those teams we project to have a big stumble in 2017, which explains the fall in our NFL power rankings.

One of the chief additions was to add running back Dalvin Cook, the direct replacement for Adrian Peterson, who is no longer in the picture.

Cook is a first-round talent, whose stock slipped due to off-the-field issues. If he can clear those up and focus on his on-field abilities, the Vikings offense should be in pretty good shape. But that’s a big if right now.

Of course, the biggest issue with Minnesota was its offensive line. Free agency provided some answers, and center Pat Elflein will help a bit.

But these moves probably won’t be enough to prevent the Vikings from falling in 2017.
