Round 5, Pick 2 (No. 146 Overall)

The Pick: Jayon Brown, LB (UCLA)

Undersized at 6’0″ and 232, UCLA’s Jayon Brown has had some significant struggles getting off blocks.

However, he is supremely athletic in pursuit and can make an impact as a pass rusher and in coverage.

San Francisco had some success with an undersized linebacker in the one season Chris Borland played and Brown, who had three interceptions and 119 total tackles last season, is worth a shot at this stage.
