4-12. . Los Angeles Rams. 30. team. 51.

The Los Angeles Rams brought in young head coach Sean McVay to install something resembling an offense in 2017.

Los Angeles hopes running back Todd Gurley can get beyond his sophomore slump from a year ago, as well as quarterback Jared Goff turning a page in year two of his NFL career.

Speaking of Goff, the Rams will be hindered by the trade that landed Goff first overall in last year’s draft. Los Angeles doesn’t have a first-round pick in 2017, which means they’ll bank on deeper classes at various positions to supplement a problematic offense.

The problem is most of the depth is found on defense, and the Rams are pretty good there. The draft’s only deep offensive position is at running back. And unless Los Angeles is ready to give up on Gurley, finding another tailback only serves to add depth.

Unless the Rams find some gems in the middle rounds, it’s likely they’ll stay towards the bottom of NFL power rankings for most of 2017.
