The Jacksonville Jaguars have spent a lot of money in free agency to address the defensive front seven, namely along the defensive line.

Calais Campbell is the newest addition. But at 30 years old, one has to wonder if his age will start to show. His production with the Arizona Cardinals last year could be a sign of things to come.

Instead, the Jaguars should look to build their defense via the NFL Draft. This starts with Alabama defensive tackle Jonathan Allen.

Allen was once considered the best prospect not named Myles Garrett. While his stock has slipped some, he’s still an enticing top-five talent in this year’s class.

Making the selection even more viable is the fact Allen can line up anywhere along the line, which is exactly the kind of piece Jacksonville needs moving forward.
