No. 22: Wide Receiver Corey Davis, Western Michigan

Just like Mike Williams, the 49ers could be intrigued enough to make a move for 6-foot-3, 209-pound Western Michigan wide receiver Corey Davis at the latter stages of Round 1 or early in Round 2.

Davis’ size is intriguing enough to suggest he’ll be a solid red-zone option for a 49ers offense needing such in 2017. Yet the Niners have yet to meet with Davis, so there’s not apparent link there right now.

Still, Joe Fann of 49ers.com broke down NFL analysts’ takes on both Williams and Davis in a recent piece on receivers. One can suppose that’s a link, but read into it what you may.

Of note, Daniel Jeremiah and Will Brinson were the experts viewing Davis as the best option.
