Head coach Bruce Arians needs a quarterback to groom, and that’s exactly what Texas Tech’s Patrick Mahomes is. Mahomes has a big arm, capable of hitting additional receiving weapons deep. The Cardinals will likely need to find some more receiving weapons too, especially with veteran wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald aging. But Mahomes is the perfect quarterback to develop for a year while Palmer finishes up his NFL career.. Quarterback. Texas Tech. Patrick Mahomes
