Tony Jefferson

Former Arizona Cardinals strong safety Tony Jefferson was one of a few players highlighting the list of top players scheduled to hit free agency. Jefferson, only 26 years old, is an outstanding player who received a Pro Football Focus grade of 88.6 for his dominant play in 2016.

The Baltimore Ravens wisely secured the services of Jefferson and will now happily look to field him with stud safety Eric Weddle. Next season, the Ravens will boast a fearsome safety tandem that will be capable of taking away the deep threat while also providing run support.

The signing of Jefferson will help improve the once-vaunted Ravens secondary while also allowing them to look elsewhere in the upcoming NFL Draft.
