Chicago Bears

Projected Cap Space: $51,366,002

Biggest Need: Quarterback

Let’s face it, the Jay Cutler era in Chicago is coming to an end one way or another. And the Bears don’t exactly have any legitimate options down the road either.

The problem is the free-agent market on quarterbacks is awfully thin, and the NFL Draft doesn’t provide any day-one options either.

Like a few other teams out there — Cleveland Browns, San Francisco 49ers — the Bears could try and go with a stop-gap option for 2017 and hope to land a notable prospect in this year’s draft with the thought of developing him.

Brian Hoyer, who spent last season in Chicago, is an option to plug the line for now.
