Pittsburgh Steelers

Projected Cap Space: $23,578,733

Biggest Need: Defensive End

The Steelers are bringing back linebacker James Harrison, and that will help out a good deal. But overall, Pittsburgh’s defense needs about as much help as it can get this offseason.

Considering the amount of talent in the NFL Draft at EDGE, the Steelers might be wise to go that route but also bring in a free agent, or two, to shore up the defensive line — primarily at the left spot.

At 30 years old, former Arizona Cardinals defensive end Calais Campbell might be a player to watch for a few years while Pittsburgh grooms some young linemen.

Campbell, like many other veterans, are eager to win now. And the Steelers have as good a chance as anybody to provide him with a ring.
