New York Jets

Projected Cap Space: $26,278,320

Biggest Need: Quarterback

The New York Jets elected to release wide receiver Brandon Marshall, and that’s a looming question mark for the offseason. And they have some needs along the offensive line too, especially following the release of center Nick Mangold.

Cornerback is also an issue (hello, Darrelle Revis), but the biggest glaring need for this Jets squad is at quarterback. It has been for some time, especially after Ryan Fitzpatrick proved he wasn’t the long-term answer.

Geno Smith? No. Bryce Petty? Probably not.

Remember when Colin Kaepernick expressed interest playing for the Jets just over a year ago? Maybe he finally gets his wish in what would certainly be an interesting situation.
