Projected Cap Space: $53,238,812

Biggest Need: Offensive Line

The Indianapolis Colts have been a disaster on defense for a while now, and they’ll be pressed into making some changes this offseason. Especially in the wake of Robert Mathis‘ retirement and the overall aging of the team’s defensive unit.

Fortunately, the NFL Draft is relatively deep on this side of the ball, and it’s likely the route new general manager Chris Ballard goes.

Where the draft isn’t deep in 2017 is along the offensive line.

Protecting the Colts’ No. 1 asset, quarterback Andrew Luck, is a primary goal in 2017. Outside of left tackle Anthony Castonzo, the entire line could use an upgrade.

Unless Indianapolis is comfortable allowing another 40-plus sacks this upcoming season.
