32. Raekwon McMillan and Zach Cunningham from Vanderbilt were considered here. But McMillan ultimately won out based on his slight advantage in size. The NFC West is filled with run-heavy offenses and bruising backs — Thomas Rawls, Carlos Hyde and Todd Gurley — and McMillan has the size to be stout against the run. The Cardinals will also begin to start looking for their future quarterback, but they don’t reach for one here.
