Seattle Seahawks

I remember seeing a reader’s comment handle that read “Die-Hard Seahawks Fan Since 2012.”

Yup, that’s your reputation, Seattle fans. You’re the bandwagoners. You were casual fans, at best, even when the Seahawks managed to get into the Super Bowl after 2005. While you do travel well — I can attest to this being in New Orleans for a Saints and Seahawks game — those “Sea-HAWKS” chants get old real quick.

That’s the thing. You think you’re loud. Your fanbase is constantly ranked as the loudest in the NFL.

But it doesn’t take an engineering genius to figure out the acoustics at CenturyLink Field make this all possible. So this means the 12th Man is merely a feat of excellent construction practices and design.

Perhaps CenturyLink’s designers should get the 12th Man moniker. Not you.

As promised, no team’s fan base was left safe.

I’m sure this will make most of you mad in one way or another. But it’s more humorous than anything else.

And, for my travels, I’ve encountered far more awesome and dedicated fans for every NFL team out there. These fans vastly outweigh the sour reputation each fan base has in one form or another.
