The Detroit Lions haven’t had too much to cheer about in recent years. Not since Barry Sanders abruptly retired anyway. And Calvin Johnson’s sudden retirement also added to the heartache.

And this meme says it all:

You’re a sad lot. The rest of the NFL world feels bad for you in one way or another.

But hey, at least you lead all team fan bases in grammar. That’s a good thing, right?
