Kudos to the Chicago Bears for hanging in there against the Detroit Lions in what proved to be a thrilling 20-17 fourth-quarter victory for Detroit.

But that’s about it for Chicago — kudos.

Good teams figure out how to win these kinds of games. Bad teams lose them. And that’s precisely what’s going on with the Bears right now.

Maybe quarterback Matt Barkley isn’t all that bad after all.
