NFL Power Rankings: Where Do All 32 Teams Sit Entering Week 14?
By Peter Panacy
At least the San Diego Chargers offense is fun to watch. But their 28-21 defeat at the hands of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 13 all but guarantees another miss in the NFL playoff picture.
San Diego’s second-half collapse is yet another example of how this team has played over the course of this season.
Granted, the Bucs are hot. But the Chargers can’t do much of anything on defense this year. There was no pressure on Tampa Bay quarterback Jameis Winston, and quarterback Philip Rivers couldn’t afford to toss two interceptions in this close game.
The Chargers now have to travel to take on the Carolina Panthers next week. At least they get to visit the Browns in Week 16. But the other games? AFC West matchups against the Oakland Raiders and Kansas City Chiefs.
