Congratulations, Bears fans. Your team scored more points in Week 13 (26) than they had against any other team this season.

But you can’t get too many accolades for that because it was against the lowly 49ers.

Still, quarterback Matt Barkley looked impressive enough in the snow once the first quarter-plus got out of the way. He didn’t have to be great, and it didn’t matter. And putting the ball in the hands of running back Jordan Howard certainly worked, as he rushed for 117 yards and three touchdowns.

Imagine if this team was healthy. Chicago might be 4-8 or even 5-7!

Let’s not get too out of hand here.
