The Good, Bad and Ugly from 49ers 37-18 Week 3 Loss to Seahawks

The Good
Wait, there’s good from Week 3?
Surprisingly, yes. The 49ers did manage to do a few good things. San Francisco forced another two turnovers and actually won the turnover battle. Currently, the Niners rank No. 3 in the NFL with eight turnovers generated.
This probably explains why the team has the 13th-best scoring offense but the 29th-best yardage offense — taking advantage of field position post turnovers.
The offensive line managed to hold up well over 60 minutes. Quarterback Blaine Gabbert wasn’t sacked at all and had just seven pressures on 27 dropbacks, per Jeff Deeney of Pro Football Focus.
Running back Carlos Hyde posted his first 100-plus rushing performance of the season and added two touchdowns to go along with it, even if both scores were in garbage time. He now has four on the year.
Veteran linebacker Ahmad Brooks was one of the few defensive standouts. He registered four tackles, one sack, two QB hits and two passes defended.
And that’s about it for what went right.
