49ers vs. Broncos: 5 San Francisco Players to Watch in Denver
By Peter Panacy

Running Back Mike Davis
What a difference a year makes for running back Mike Davis.
A year removed from his 2015 rookie campaign, in which he averaged a mere 1.7 yards per carry, Davis rumbled for 72 yards on five attempts versus Houston — leading all San Francisco ball-carriers.
Mike Davis had a 44-yard for the #49ers in the first half. Longest run by a 49er last year? 47 yards by DuJuan Harris.

Davis is clearly in better shape than he was a season ago, and the impact of his offseason efforts appear to be paying off.
At least so far, which is important for a guy who entered 2016 likely on the roster bubble.
A major focus point for San Francisco will be having adequate tailbacks to support No. 1 runner Carlos Hyde.
Davis looks to be fitting into this role very well and could see an increased amount of production this season.
The next step is for Davis to back up these efforts against Denver.
