2017 49ers Mock Draft

OK, I’ll admit I haven’t watched a ton of film on a good chunk of these guys yet. But, as any serious NFL fan knows, mock drafts are more important to gauge team needs in terms of priority. And what does your 2017 NFL Draft mock look like right now?

So you won’t see the breakdowns of Player X-to-San Francisco or anything like that. It’s also next to impossible to accurately gauge where each prospect will fall in terms of rounds.

And it will be entertaining, at least, to come back and look at this mock at the start of the new year.

  • Round 1: OT Cam Robinson, Alabama
  • Round 2: CB Gareon Conley, Ohio State
  • Round 3: ILB Kendall Beckwith, LSU
  • Round 4: QB Luke Falk, Washington State
  • Round 5: WR Isaiah Ford, Virginia Tech
  • Round 5: TE Billy Freeman, San Jose State
  • Round 6: DE Trey Hendrickson, Florida Atlantic
  • Round 6: OLB Scott Felix, USC
  • Round 7: RB Anthony Wales, Western Kentucky

Mock the mock draft all you want. It’s fine. Remember, this is a first-take look. And we have no idea where any of these prospects will be ranked when NFL Draft season heats up.

In the meantime, let’s hope the 49ers get some return on the prospects selected in 2016 and have a clear view on what the team’s needs will be the following year.
